Who is eligible for this opportunity?
We welcome expressions of interest from photographers at different stages of their practice, including emerging, early-career and established photographers.
You should have a connection to Hull and/or the Humber region, either through where you live or work, or through a meaningful connection to the area.
We're particularly interested in photographers who are excited by socially engaged practice, documentary, landscape, portraiture or other approaches that explore the relationship between people and place.
We welcome applications from photographers from all backgrounds and encourage applications from those currently underrepresented within the arts.
When is the deadline?
26th October 2026.
When is the delivery date?
February 2027.
Are there payments to artists?
£1000, which may increase if additional funding is confirmed.
Do I need to be present?
Yes, you will need to be based in or have a strong link to Hull or the wider Humber region.
How do you decide on proposals?
A judging panel.
