Art Friend is looking for artists who submitted work to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and were rejected but still have their work available. The exhibition date will be from 4th July 2024 and artwork will need to be delivered on 2nd July to the location TBC.

Due to popular demand, Rejects is returning to London this summer to showcase and celebrate some incredible artworks that have been overlooked by the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition to give the artists their chance to shine!

Art Friend, a friendly, down to earth art gallery whose aim is to make everyone feel welcome in the art world. We are looking for artists who submitted work to the RA Summer Exhibition and didn't get in but still have their work available. The exhibition will be from 4th - 14th July 2024 so your artwork will need to be framed, ready to hang and delivered on 2nd July and anything not sold must be collected on 14th/15th July.

Art Friend works on a 50/50 split and the work will need to be exclusive for Art Friend for the show and 2 months afterwards. Delivery and collection of artwork will need to be organised by the artist. Prior to the show and during the show, we also ask that artists send out newsletters (if they have a mailing list) and share details on their social media channels about the show. The Rejects show was a huge success last year and featured on several websites and printed publications as well as on BBC Radio.

Due to limited space and curation requirements we will not be able to accept everyone that applies, understandly this is not ideal, but we want to be transparent, by applying you aknowledge that this is not an issue.

Due to the high volume of people sending art, we won't be able to get back to everyone straight away however we are looking forward to seeing all your submissions!

Deadline: 1st June 2024 (to include people who are rejected from the second round) however we would encourage you to apply as soon as possible as space is limited and we will start curating beforehand.
