The annual online exhibition is back! 

After a three-year hiatus, Supporting the Arts returns. Founded by artist Bobby Forsythe, STA began as a curated Instagram exhibition designed to support UK artists during the challenges of the pandemic.

Forsythe’s vision was to build an online community where creatives could connect and uplift one another.

Following the break, she has expanded the team, welcoming photographer Connor Barford and filmmaker Brad Geller.

This will be an exhibition hosted on the STA Instagram page as well as a permanent feature on the official STA website.  

There will be a prize for one artist of £150 [curator's choice]   

Main requirements: 

  • This is only for UK artists  
  • There is no theme   
  • There is no submission fee  
  • Artwork made from 2023 to the present  
  • The winner can accept payment via PayPal or bank transfer  
  • Please keep the artwork description to 500 words. 
  • No AI artwork or images  
  • Films maximum of 20 minutes  
  • Please submit your artwork with the title and your name as the file name.  


By submitting images, you agree that your artworks may be used for future promotional material, and happily consent to your images being uploaded onto Supporting the Arts' Instagram and personal website  

Exciting future updates- For the first time, an editor's choice zine will be available after the exhibition.
