This is a unique opportunity to showcase your work in the UK & Brazil, with an online profile, increase your Instagram presence and with the extra opportunity of building a customer base for your practice through an auction.

Ashford Visual Artists, UK and Artly Mix in Brazil have joined up to offer the amazing opportunity to exhibit in 2 international shows in both hemispheres.

Submission is open to everyone.

But artworks must be no larger than 12x12x12cm.

Subject: To interpret the word “beat”.

Start 29 April 2024 (International Dance day)

Deadline for submissions:

14 September by 23.59

Artwork must be delivered by 29 September (World Heart day)

Who can Apply:

Anyone worldwide

Cost:

Free to enter.

Once selected you will be invited to pay £6 for 1 / £10 for 2 artworks to cover printing and media costs.

Created by Lorrain Mailer of Ashford Visual Artists UK in conjunction with Juliana Lauletta of Artly Mix in São Paulo, Brazil.

The project will run from International Dance Day, 29 April, to World Heart Day, 29 September.

The two international exhibitions will be held over Restart a Heart Day on 16 October in Kent, UK (awaiting location confirmation) and at Echo’s Studios, São Paulo, Brazil.

Artwork delivered to either address will be exhibited at that location with a “same size” image displayed at the other location.

In essence you exhibit in both!

We would greatly welcome after these events if you would donate your work and thereby exhibit again in March 2025 at the University of the Creative Arts in Canterbury, UK.

The aim is to auction THE BEAT artwork to raise funds for UCA’s BA Fine Art degree show.

The auction will be streamed live, and you will be able to download it. This will offer you a third exhibition, video of the event and your buyer’s details to add to your client list along with the warmth of knowing you have helped out another emerging artist in these constrained times.
