Who is eligible for this opportunity?
We welcome applications from early-career through to established UK-based makers and encourage candidates who are underrepresented within the arts sector to apply.

How much does it cost?
£220 inc VAT.

This standard-size stall offer an ideal space to showcase your designs and you can use display techniques such as tabletop racks or rails.
Price includes a trestle table (H760 W755 L1800) and a chair

Fees must be paid in advance to guarantee a place. Makers selected for participation will be informed of payment deadlines. Fees support the running of the fairs and markets programme and The Hepworth Wakefield’s mission to create art experiences that inspire and enhance lives.
What is the date and time of the Harvest Festival
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, 10 am - 5 pm both days.

Stallholders can set up on Friday, 18 September from 1 pm - 7 pm.
Where is the Harvest Festival taking place? And does the location have disabled access?
The Harvest Festival will take place in Tileyard North, the converted mill space adjacent to the gallery. Stalls can be set up the day before the market opens. The space is fully indoors with access to toilets, WIFI and electricity.

Full details regarding set up and take down will be sent in advance of the event.

The space is fully accessible to anyone with mobility requirements. The space is located on the ground floor with full access and toilet facilities. If you have any concerns about your stall and have access requirements, please let the fair organisers know.
What press and marketing will The Hepworth Wakefield undertake?
Exhibitors will be prominently listed on The Hepworth Wakefield’s website and promoted through a variety of content on the gallery’s sector-leading social media platforms: Instagram (106k followers); Facebook (32k followers), as well as in regular e-newsletters sent to our Members, Patrons and email subscribers.

The Hepworth Wakefield has a strong track record of securing media coverage for its fairs and markets, offering a further opportunity to profile participants. Media coverage received for previous fairs included Crafts Council, Elle Decoration, The Guardian, Time Out, Wallpaper* and Yorkshire Post. 
Do I need to attend both days of The Harvest Festival?
Yes, due to logistics we can only accept stallholders that can attend both days of the Harvest Festival. Stallholders are expected to look after their stall at all times during the event. We would suggest bringing an additional person to help cover breaks (staff are unable to help with your break cover).
Do I need insurance?
Yes, all stallholders must have Public Liability insurance to the value of £5 million (in date during the Harvest Festival).
How much time do I have to set up my stall?
Stallholders will have access on Friday 18 September and the morning of Saturday 19 September. Further details will be sent to stallholders in advance of the event.
How are stallholders selected?
Stallholders are selected by a panel comprising The Hepworth Wakefield team members with comprehensive experience in curating, exhibiting, promoting, commissioning and retailing work by artists and makers at all levels of experience.

Exhibitors are selected to ensure that the Harvest Festival presents a range of products and makers, from all professional and educational backgrounds. We encourage applications from independent artists, makers and local businesses.
How will I know if I have been shortlisted as a Stallholder?
Our panel will meet week commencing 25 May 2026 to discuss all submissions. Staff will contact all makers via email from the 1 June onwards. Staff will not provide feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
