    Rachel (they/them) is a prolific, intuitive artist who has been practicing since graduating in1990 from Central Saint Martins School of Art, London. They follow where their creativity takes them on the day; using sketching, linocut, mono printing, sewing and painting. Having grown up in the Peak District, Rachel has lived in London, Boston and New Zealand and is now loving Norwich.

    Rosalind Stoddart is a sustainable fine art textile artist who uses materials grown and foraged from her immediate surroundings including natural dyes, alpaca fleece, and flax.     During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects.     I am an emerging textile artist working with experimental eco-printing and cyanotype. A scientist by previous trade, I am currently studying for FdA degree in Textiles Practice at Bradford Art School. I am drawn to the overlap of science and nature with creativity, with production of serendipitous outcomes featuring botanical imagery using real plants and their pigments.
