    I am a multimedia artist, interested in the magic powers that inanimate objects can achieve through our spells. Teddy bears are my queer talismans. My film practice begins with a desire to heal feelings of loss, solitude and alienation, by exploring symbioses between beings.     I'm a ceramic sculptor who loves clay. The infinite possibilities of clay as a medium appeals to my need to constantly evolve my work as well as my love of learning and challenging myself. I love trying new techniques and pushing the boundaries with much of my work now single fired. Teaching adds another layer to that as I run a membership, classes and workshops from my Cambridgeshire studio.

    I have lived and walked in both urban & natural environments from London to Staffordshire and currently near Nottingham. In 2015 I completed an MA in Fine Art, through using my culture of walking, and I’m inspired by ‘edgeland’ landscapes.     I come from a family of painters and studied Fine Art at 'A' Level. I have been painting landscapes regularly since 2013 and, having retired from a career in nursing in 2015, am now a full time artist, painting and drawing and have studied portraiture under Andres Jaroslavsky and Luke Thompson. I also hold classes in portraiture (both drawing and painting) and landscape painting around Leeds.

    The Print Lass is the creation of Nikki Williams working from a basement studio in her West Yorkshire home. A colour lover with a passion for pattern and print. Her prints focus on texture and colour in both digital and screen printed formats. Her most recent addition is a series of folded and cut screen printed houses, with plans to develop the print and cut range.
