  PLY-SPLIT BRAIDING - THE BASICS - WORKSHOP

  This two-day workshop is an introduction to ply-splitting, and gives a good grounding in the key ‘stitches’ or ‘weaves’ that are used. We start simply and build gradually, making braids, small mats and projects – these are things to refer back to in the future should you wish to take things further.

  Embroidered panel workshop

  You’ll learn how to transfer a design to your choice of beautiful fabrics, alongside basic hand embroidery stitches to bring your design to life. By the end of the workshop you will have learnt different hand embroidery techniques and stitches, how to create and transfer designs, how to embroider lettering and have a completed (or nearly completed) a panel.
