CasildART (@africanartfinder) would like to invite UK based and International artists to submit their work for a forthcoming curated group exhibition entitled Routes and Roots.

Routes & Roots is a pop-up exhibition that will take place in London in April 2022.  It is part of CasildART’s mission to promote emerging contemporary Black artists with established and recognised names in the art world.

We aim to showcase the diversity of Black artistic expression and amplify stories that reflect the physical, cultural, and inner lives and experiences of Black people. We organise exhibits in traditional and non-traditional gallery settings, including virtual spaces to reach the widest audience possible.

The brief is open to interpretation as CasildART is looking for creative ideas and fresh perspectives on the theme.  A virtual exhibition will run concurrently with the real live event.

CasildART is looking for artworks in the following mediums:

- Canvas or framed wall-based artworks

- Sculptural pieces (small and large)

- Installations

- Video art

- Neon light art

Routes & Roots is a unique opportunity to be a part of an exciting group exhibition featuring International artists. Each selected artist may be required to take part in public programming.

Costs:

No fee to submit. There is a cost of £40 per artwork or £200 for six pieces if your work is selected.
