Between the Lines: A exhibition featuring the work of members of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.

This exhibition aims to showcase some of the best contemporary mosaics from members of the British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM).

BAMM members are invited to submit their mosaic artwork to reflect the title of the exhibition, 'Between the Lines'.

Artworks are expected to be for sale. The gallery will take 30% plus VAT of the sale. BAMM will not take any additional commission.

Both 2D and 3D works are being accepted. If you intend to submit a 3D work please let us know as soon as possible so that the gallery can organise an appropriate plinth. The gallery would prefer that mirror plates are used for hanging and are attached to the piece before submitting. D-rings and wire will be accepted if it is necessary for the work.

Artists are responsible for the costs of shipping their work and for return shipping. Neither BAMM nor the gallery provide insurance for the artworks so it is up to the artist to arrange their own insurance if required.

The deadline for submissions is 28th February 2020. All work must be delivered between Thursday 12th March and Thursday 19th March 2020. Work can be accepted earlier by private arrangement.

You must be a member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic to submit your work. If you are not a member and would like to take part, details of how to join are on the BAMM website: www.bamm.org.uk/membership. 

The first submission costs £15. Subsequent submissions are £10 each.

 

 

Submission fees

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • One submission - 15.00 GBP
  • Two submissions - 25.00 GBP
  • Three submissions - 35.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. When is the deadline?
The deadline for submissions is 28th February 2020.
How many works can I submit?
You may submit up to 3 artworks. However, the exhibition will be curated to show as many different styles and types of mosaic as possible. It is therefore possible that only one artwork will be selected per artist.
When is the delivery date?
All work must be delivered between Thursday 12th March and Thursday 19th March 2020. Work can be accepted earlier by private arrangement.
When do I need to collect my work?
The exhibition ends on 30th May. Arrangements will be made for you to collect your work after this or to have it collected by courier.
How much does it cost?

Yes. It is planned to have this on Friday 27th March, 2020, 6.30-8.30pm
