For Volume 6, Issue 2 (2026), we welcome submissions from artists, researchers, and writers worldwide.

We publish 3–4 issues per year in both print and digital formats.

About the Organiser

Art Horizons is led by Junrui Garcia, a PhD in Education, art educator, curator, and published author with experience in international art publishing and education.

The magazine is supported by an international editorial and advisory team of artists, professors, and researchers.

We welcome submissions including:

  • Visual artworks
  • Artist interviews
  • Studio diaries
  • Art research and criticism
  • Art education articles
     

1. Visual Arts

We welcome original 2D and 3D artworks in the following categories:

  • Painting – Oil, acrylic, watercolour, ink, mixed media
  • Sculpture – Clay, metal, wood, installation (submit high-quality photos)
  • Digital Art – Digital illustration and 3D render (No AI-generated work)
     

2. Written Contributions

We accept written work in the following categories:

  • Art Research – Critical essays, historical or theoretical analyses
  • Art Education – Teaching methodologies, curriculum reflections, and pedagogical studies
     

3. Selected Contributors Will Receive

  • Publication in both the print and digital editions of Art Horizons
  • Free Digital Portfolio Kit – A flipbook and printable PDF layout of the published spread
     

4. Submission Guidelines for Artworks

  • Submit up to 5 works
  • High-quality JPEGs, minimum 1500px on the longest side
  • Maximum file size: 4 MB per image

Please include:

  • Title
  • Medium
  • Size in cm (H × W or H × W × D for 3D works)
  • Year of creation
  • Short artist bio (max 200 words)
  • Optional artist statement (max 150 words) 


5. Submission Guidelines for Articles (Research / Education)

  • Word count: 800–3500 words
  • Format: DOC or DOCX

Please include:

  • Article title
  • Author name
  • Short bio (max 150 words)
  • Citations in APA 7 format

Related images (if applicable) must include complete captions:

  • Artist name
  • Artwork title
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Year
