Phoenix Cinema is opening doors for a Christmas film-themed fair – Apply for a stall now! Whether you paint or make quilts, knit or screen print, make jewellery or arrange wreaths – if you can draw inspiration from film, we’d like to hear from you.

We’re looking for arts and crafts sellers who have works that incorporate film and cinema, whether the works are dedicated to a beloved Christmas movie, capture the cinematic experience or relate to a moment in cinema’s history.

Works can also be linked to the Phoenix Cinema itself: based in North London’s East Finchley, we are one of the oldest continuously running independent cinemas in the UK, and a registered charity.

If you’re looking for inspiration and haven’t visited us before, come by for a cuppa or a chat with our friendly staff.

Accepted media: painting, illustration, print, photography, jewellery, ceramics, glass, collage, textile. We also welcome art books (film/cinema-linked), greeting cards, pins & badges, flower/wreath arrangements, Christmas decorations, candles, etc.

No AI generated works accepted. All works must be hand-made and safe for purchase.

Location: Phoenix Cinema, East Finchley, 52 High Road N2 9PJ

Date & time: Saturday 5 December & Sunday 6 December, 10 am-4 pm

Participation fee: £35

All proceeds will go to the artist. The cinema doesn't take commissions.

Application deadline: 23:59, Sunday 8 November.

You will receive support from the cinema’s marketing team publicising the event and your profile on social media.

You can apply to sell on both days or just one (please specify which in your application); the stall fee is the same.

Please also specify whether you'd need a full table or half-table. Spaces are limited to 10 sellers per day.

Important:

Space is limited, so please bring a compact freestanding display or hanging system that fits within your allocated area (56x56cm half-table and 70x70cm full table).

Note: no direct wall mounting will be available.

Storage space is also limited, so please bring only as much stock as you can keep in your own space.
