Be part of Deck the Walls a festive, curated pop-up exhibition of small-format artworks and handmade cards, launching alongside the iconic Mill Road Winter Fair (Saturday 6th December 2025). Taking place in a vibrant Cambridge studio space, this event brings together art lovers, local shoppers, and fairgoers looking for unique, giftable pieces. Open from 6th to 14th.

Deck the Walls: Christmas Art & Cards Exhibition

Theme:

Good things come in small packages.
 

We’re celebrating beautifully made small-scale work from tiny treasures to framed gems. All mediums and practices are welcome: textiles, print, painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, embroidery, collage, photography, jewellery, paper art, and more.

Submission Details:

  • Open to all artists and makers - Cambridge-based and other makers
  • No fee to apply
  • Selected artists will be notified by Monday, 24 November 2025
  • Final delivery of work: by Wednesday, 3 December 2025
  • Work will be posted in the second and third week of January 
  • All work submitted must be for sale (under £100 is preferred and not above £300)


Entry Fees (if selected):

  • Artworks A4 size or smaller (including any frame): £15 per piece
  • Artworks larger than A4 (including any frame): £35 per piece
    Note: Work does not need to be framed. We welcome mounted and unmounted
  • Cards: £5 
    • Up to 20 individuals or sets of 5, price on card, payment after sale


(all costs go towards running event)

Sales & Commission:

  • 10% commission on works sold under £100
  • 15% commission on works sold for £100 and over


Whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or new to showcasing your craft, this is a perfect opportunity to share your work during one of the most high-footfall weekends of the year. Expect a joyful, welcoming atmosphere and lots of art-loving visitors!
