Embroidery stitch tutors wanted to run workshops at the Quaker Tapestry Museum in 2026
We are looking for tutors in embroidery/stitch (we will consider other textile workshops too) to run half day/full day workshops here at the Quaker Tapestry Museum.
This could be workshops based on a particular stich, beginners embroidery, medieval embroidery, crewel work, working with silver/gold thread, brooch making etc.
Workshops should be either between 10 am and 1 pm or 10 am and 4.30-5 pm.
We can take up to a maximum of 15 participants, and our minimum number is 6 participants to run.
Tutors need to supply materials, but can request a materials fee from students.
Refreshments are provided on the day alongside free entry to the museum. Lunch is not provided, but there is a cafe on site.
We will be working alongside Virgin Experiences this year, which provides a lot of additional marketing and promotion alongside our own.
We do not pay for travel expenses or planning, so please take that into account when making your submission.
Our pricing works out to 65% of the ticket price, including VAT. Workshops should be in the range of £120-150 per full day.
If you would like to make a submission, please provide the name of your workshop, description and bio, alongside available dates.
Thank you.
