Torbay's annual Summer visual arts highlight.

We’re pleased to invite submissions for this year’s English Riviera Summer Open, our annual celebration of contemporary visual arts at Artizan Collective Gallery.

Running from 29th June - 24th August 2025, this exhibition transforms our Fleet Walk venue into a vibrant patchwork of colour, creativity and community.

If you’ve exhibited with us before, you’ll know that the Summer Open is a cornerstone of our year - one of our biggest, boldest showcases that brings together a rich blend of artists working across all mediums and styles.

And if you’re new to our calls, welcome! This is your chance to be part of one of the South West’s most diverse and accessible open exhibitions.

About the Exhibition

The Summer Open is:

  • Selective but welcoming - open to all, with selection based on originality, quality, and breadth.
  • Boldly curated - we look for dynamic combinations of traditional and contemporary work.
  • Audience-loved - drawing visitors, collectors, and art lovers from across the region.

New for 2025: Get involved before the show opens!

We’re holding a Volunteer Day for anyone who’s ever said, “Just let me know if you need a hand.”

On 23rd June, we’ll be inviting anyone who’s free to come down, pick up a roller, and help us give the space a fresh coat of paint.

It’s a great excuse to get stuck in behind the scenes, meet fellow artists, and be part of the creative buzz from the ground up.

If you’ve discovered us recently - perhaps through our work at Delamore or further afield - this is a great opportunity to continue your journey with us and experience the full spirit of our high street gallery programme in Torquay.

We can’t wait to see your submissions!
