Warrington Museum & Art Gallery (WMAG) invites proposals from artists and groups for its 2020 exhibitions programme.

We are interested in hearing from artists and groups from all disciplines. Please include a budget breakdown in your proposal, including artist fee, materials and any supporting workshops/sessions.

We're particulary interested in artists creating a new body of work. If you're proposing work that has previously been shown, please make this clear in your application.

What budget is available?
There is no set budget for this, we are simply inviting artists to submit proposals. We ask that you include a budget breakdown in your proposal.
What is the timescale?
A typical exhibition at WMAG is 2-3 months
Is there a maximum budget / what exactly can I include in the budget / what duration would the exhib
We've deliberately left this completely open, it's up to you what you want to charge and what to include. We're not a gallery with a big budget, so affordable proposals are more likely to be selected. Having said that if an artist proposes something we really like that we can't afford, we could look to secure external funding for it.
