Instinct is an international virtual exhibition by DiversaMente Arte exploring the many forms through which instinct can emerge in contemporary art. Artists may present one work that evokes the concept of instinct through subject, form, gesture, emotion, symbolism or visual language. 

Figurative, abstract and experimental approaches are equally welcome.

The exhibition will be hosted on Kunstmatrix and will be accessible online from 17 to 31 October 2026.

Each participating artist will be represented by one artwork accompanied by the artist’s name, title, medium, dimensions and year of creation.

Participation includes the presentation of the artwork in the virtual exhibition, promotion through the DiversaMente Arte social and web network, an official Certificate of Participation and inclusion in the official exhibition video, which will remain permanently available on the DiversaMente Arte YouTube channel.

Previous virtual exhibition projects have achieved significant online attendance, including more than 1,300 visitors on Arte - Galleria.

Three participating artists will be identified by the Board of DiversaMente Arte for special recognition.

Each will receive a dedicated article on the official DiversaMente Arte blog and a Certificate of Merit.

Sales:

Artworks may be purchased through DiversaMente Arte contacts.

DiversaMente Arte does not retain any commission on sales. Only any applicable

Stripe transaction or processing fees may apply.

Participation fee: €55 per artist.

Deadline for participation: 15 October 2026.

Participation is confirmed upon completion of the submission and payment of the participation fee.

Promotion:

The exhibition will be promoted through DiversaMente Arte’s social and web network, with a combined following of nearly 15,000 and over 29,000 social media views in the last 30 days.

The official DiversaMente Arte blog has recorded over 2,000 visits.

The exhibition will be hosted on Kunstmatrix, and the official exhibition video will remain permanently available on YouTube.

DiversaMente Arte is an independent cultural and curatorial organisation founded and directed by Dr Simona Rossi, psychologist, art historian, curator and cultural heritage manager.
