Open Call for JustArt Newspaper Club

JustArt Collective is an artist-led initiative, founded in Hong Kong and now active in the UK, dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career contemporary artists.

Through collaborative projects, exhibitions, and publications, it fosters creative exchange, community engagement, and visibility.

Rooted in inclusivity and accessibility, JustArt encourages dialogue, experimentation, and connection across diverse artistic practices, helping artists share their voices and reach wider audiences.

The JustArt Newspaper Club is a non-profit publication series that seeks to amplify the voices of artists whose work challenges, inspires, and provokes thought.

Each issue combines artist features, interviews, essays, and curatorial perspectives to explore timely themes in the arts, bridging traditional and experimental approaches to contemporary creativity.

By highlighting diverse practices and fostering dialogue, the Newspaper Club cultivates understanding, visibility, and support for artists beyond conventional gallery spaces.

What We’re Looking For:

Artists:

Submit 4-6 images of your artwork, along with a description of your work, your bio, and an artist statement.

Curators:

Share your past projects, project concepts, and your bio, along with 5-8 accompanying images

Your work will be highlighted on our platforms - JustArt Collective Instagram, Artflow Instagram,  Xiaohongshu, and website. (Over 2K+ viewers, we are a new art collective growing rapidly!)

Distribution:

The newspaper will be distributed at various art exhibitions across London, in Partnership with Artflow Studio (the Next December Group Show in London), it will be available to purchase at Newbridge Books in Newcastle (More locations will be updated soon), and online orders.

Exhibition Opportunity:

We will feature participants on JustArt Collective social media. As a member of the JustArt community, we will select 1-2 participants for free exhibitions with JustArt.  Solo online exhibition (free) opportunity with Artflow Studio every month

Press release:

We will do a random press release for our newspaper with  well-established media partners - Our Culture Mag, Visual Art Journal, etc.

A comprehensive interview or an art review is an excellent way to help our readers gain deeper insights into your work!
