CALL FOR ARTISTS REBIRTH Artists are invited to apply for REBIRTH, a group exhibition taking place 14–19 May. We welcome submissions in painting, photography, installation, textile, and video.

We invite contemporary artists to participate in a professionally curated group exhibition this May, themed “REBIRTH”, featuring painting, photography, installation, textile, and video works.

The exhibition explores the concept of rebirth — transformation, renewal, and the emergence of new forms — inviting artists to reflect on cycles of growth, repair, and resilience through their work.

The exhibition provides a carefully organised environment where each artwork is displayed clearly, without overcrowding, ensuring a visually coherent and immersive experience.

The exhibition will take place in a large contemporary space in Bermondsey Square (Central London, near Tower Bridge). Its generous scale — approximately 2000 sqm — allows room for ambitious artworks, immersive installations, and pieces that benefit from an open, spacious environment.

Viewings are arranged by appointment to encourage intentional, focused engagement with the work.

Rather than fast-moving footfall, this approach supports meaningful encounters with collectors, curators, and art-interested visitors.

Appointments are already being booked throughout the exhibition period, including Christmas Day.

We had over 2000 visitors at our last exhibitions, which lasted for only two weeks.

A public opening night will welcome guests into the space with drinks, alongside a performance by a professional dancer and choreographer, creating an atmospheric dialogue between body and artwork.

Artists are also invited to participate in a mix-and-meet gathering during the exhibition — an opportunity to connect with fellow exhibitors, curators, and invited audiences.

In addition, artist talks will be programmed, allowing selected artists to share insight into their practice, themes, and methods, encouraging dialogue between artists and attendees.

Promotion will take place locally through printed materials and online through the curator’s Instagram platform with 11.9K followers, alongside targeted promotional campaigns aimed at collectors and art-interested audiences. Each participating artist will receive a certificate of participation.

Participating artists will receive professional photographs and videos of their work and the exhibition, along with a certificate acknowledging their contribution.

The exhibition features a private view with drinks and a live art component in a professional gallery space, providing the opportunity to engage with art enthusiasts, collectors, and gallerists.

Artists will also benefit from promotion across the curator’s social media platform and professionally produced printed materials to showcase the exhibition.

Standalone installations and sculptures are encouraged. Placement guidance will be provided when necessary to ensure each work is displayed safely and appropriately.

This opportunity is organised by MA Fine Art Monica  Mardare as an independent London curator committed to creating thoughtful, sensory exhibitions that foreground emotional depth, introspection, and the complex layering of human experience.

The intention is to offer artists a meaningful platform in Central London — one that values clarity of intention, experimentation, and the unfolding of the inner world within community.

If accepted, a participation fee of £99 will be required for two paintings (no larger than 1 metre each), or for one larger painting between 1 metre and 2 metres.

Larger works or additional pieces may be submitted upon discussion, with the participation fee adjusted accordingly.

After confirmation of acceptance, payment should be completed within 7 days; otherwise, the application will be cancelled. The participation fee is non-refundable.

Artists will receive a collaboration agreement and a participation certificate at the end of the exhibition.

All submitted artworks should be for sale. A 20% commission will be applied on sales to the curator, with 80% going to the artist.
