In this age of celebrities championing the cause, awareness around menopause is heightening, information becoming more accessible, celebrity-endorsed products and literature everywhere; not to mention menopause-related words being trademarked and this inevitable period of every woman’s life becoming a very lucrative business indeed…but does any of this actually change our own personal experiences? ~ partial or complete darkness produced by a body coming between rays of light (and a surface)

~ used in reference to proximity, ominous oppressiveness, or sadness

~ a weak or inferior remnant or version of something

THIS IS A 1/12 SCALE DOLLHOUSE PROJECT - PLEASE READ THE DETAILS CAREFULLY

You may wish to remain anonymous and in this respect all that is required is an email address for communication purposes. Email addresses are not disclosed to other show participants.

This call is for all mediums of original small artworks. Unfortunately video and prints of large scale work cannot be accepted for this show.

2D work should be within the maximum measurements of 4in(W) x 5.5in(H) x 0.5in(D) (to INCLUDE any mount/frame).

3D work should have a maximum footprint of 2.5in x 2.5in x 6in(H) inches - there is limited room for manoeuvre on this so please specify the exact size when submitting your work.

SELECTED WORKS WILL NEED TO BE POSTED TO THE HOUSE OF SMALLS, A COTSWOLDS (UK) BASED PROJECT AND RECEIVED BY 16 AUGUST 2022. 

THERE WILL BE A COST OF £20 PER SELECTED ARTIST TO HELP COVER THE COSTS OF EXHIBITING, PROMOTION, PRINTING, TRAVEL & INSURANCE ETC. THERE WILL BE NO COMMISSION ON SALES. I WILL BE THERE THROUGHOUT WITH THE HOUSES.

Due to personal reasons these shows will mark the end of The House of Smalls exhibitions for a time and there will be a printed version of the entire Catalogue of Artworks available shortly after the Art Fair.
