Call for entries! 13b is looking for photography submissions for their international exhibition ‘Shifting Ground’. This is a great opportunity to expand your network and get greater exposure by exhibiting your work in front of an international audience.

13b is proud to present 'Shifting Ground', a group environmental photography exhibition which will examine a planet in flux as the boundary between the wild and the built world rapidly dissolves.

Moving far beyond traditional, passive landscapes, 'Shifting Ground' plans to utilise contemporary art as a vital medium to transform abstract ecological data—from accelerating climate patterns to heavily industrialised terrains—into deeply visceral, intimate human encounters.

By contrasting the haunting, sublime beauty of human-altered geography with the everyday lives of communities navigating these disruptions, the featured artists will challenge us to confront our own roles within these changing systems.

Ultimately, this collection will demonstrate that environmental photography is no longer just a passive window to the outside world, but a stark, poetic mirror reflecting the delicate, high-stakes symbiosis of modern human life and the earth we inhabit.

All genres of photography are welcome; all that is required is a connection to nature and the environment.
