    The Power of Embroidery is a project led by artist Or Williams in partnership with the Refugee Support Group (RSG) and Reading Museum Partnership in Reading UK. This project aims to feature stories of diaspora, migration, refuge, and asylum-seeking in the UK by creating a collective embroidered tapestry made by refugees and asylum seekers. The tapestry will be exhibited during Heritage Open Days at Reading Museum in September 2024.

    "The stated aim of Contemporary British Painting is to explore and promote current painting. The subtext to this is giving voice back to the artist, the originator and source of painting. This prize is artists submitting themselves to consideration and selection by their peers." Simon Carter, co-founder of Contemporary British Painting and lead selector of the CBP Prize 2018.
