    Hi I’m Kate. I generally use a wide range of media to draw, paint and sculpt my work. I also tend towards abstract or realistic with occasional pieces in the middle ground. Ever since I fell ill with hashimoto’s my life has been one medical battlefield to another. I nearly lost my life three times. Now I’m a Zebra (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) and am finally back doing something I love, creating.

    I am an energetic multi disciplinary artist, who is at ease in performance and with a background in painting and music and i create moving image work from performative actions that weave together sound and painting with gesture and movement.     Abigail Brown has been producing contemporary designs in silver since 2001. She has exhibited internationally at venues including the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Saatchi Gallery, Goldsmiths' Hall and the German Goldsmiths' House in Hanau. Her silverware is included in the public collection of National Museum Wales in Cardiff. She is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths'.

    I am a Visual Artist based in the Southwest of Ireland. I work in the medium of Origami. I received my Masters in Creative Media (2015) from IT Tralee and Degree in Fine Art Sculpture (2002) from Crawford College of Art and Design. Between those dates I lived and worked in London and did a number of other short courses in Central St. Martins and Chelsea College of Art and Design.

    I taught in further and higher art education for 20+years, exhibited widely in UK and Europe, taught freelance on degree courses and now work with groups and individual students. I have an MA ADD from Manchester School of Art. I live and work near woods and water, involved in environmental woodland management and industrial archaeology. I work with drawing, found objects, print and stitch.
