    I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.

    My practice aims to find a connectivity to our deep past, in an attempt to unravel our human reluctance to take responsibility for our underlining destructive nature.     My name is Harriet Pybus and iv recently spent a lot of time reflecting back on photographs that I have taken over the years. My photographs provide sanctuary from the turmoil of the modern world. Feelings of tranquillity, peace & almost romantic emotions frozen in time, giving an opportunity to stop, breathe and appreciate the world in which we live.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, digital media, video and print. Her practice explores feminist themes, domestic labour and materiality. She reimagines household tools as metaphors for resilience and ritual.
