    I graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in 1996. Since then I have mainly shown my work at craft fairs and shows in England, mainly London. I love this way of selling my work as I enjoy the personal shows and the personal touch it demands, finding the right home for each individual piece that will be loved, cherished and worn for decades....portable, wearable art!

    Graduate of GSA, Textiles and interior designer, broadcast journalist for BBC WS and VOA before motherhood and teaching.     I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.
