    I'm an Artist & Qualified Art Teacher based in Leeds with a master's in Contemporary Fine Arts Practices. My work is inspired by African Art, Rastafarian Culture, and Roots Reggae. I've received the Edna Lumb Travel Scholarship and the Black Achievers Award.     I have spent most of my life working as a nurse. However, the urge to paint has always remained. Engaging with abstract painting gives me the freedom to create without constraints or predetermined outcomes, fostering a sense of excitement and anticipation akin to the initial notes of a beloved song.
