    I am a Brighton-based artist with an interest in semiotics, producing concept-driven work with a specialism in slip-cast ceramics.     My paintings explore architectural spaces and structures shaped by memory, displacement, invention and perception. Working in layered oil paint, I build and erode surfaces, balancing structure with chance and material behaviour. I hold an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and have exhibited widely, including a recent museum solo exhibition at Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.

    Ex Army Father of two beautiful girls and I work as a HGV driver in the UK. I got into art literally by accident, after a work place accident and recovering at home ,I took up pyrography to take my mind off the recovery. Since then and work permitting I do my art when I can. Only having weekends off from the road I love to dive into a piece for hours on end, the smell and sound is fantastic.
