    I'm a painter of nature, climate, weather and natural phenomenon using recessive colours, working in Norfolk, UK. My work is associated with embracing the shadow side of the natural world, themes of non self, and a deep concern for the state of the climate. I predominantly use oil forlandscapes and seascapes with a tight four colour palette, which shifts slowly over time.

    Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally. I then returned to mixed media work in 2021.     Victor Guerin is a Franco-British artist (b. 1993). Guerin graduated from the Royal College of Art, MA Sculpture (2024) and Arts et Métiers ParisTech Grande Ecole, MEng Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Guerin was a finalist for the Hyundai Award for Excellence in Sustainability and Creative Practice (2024), and won the Averil Picot Art Award (2023).
