    Originally from Moldova (formerly part of the USSR), I have called Harrogate home for the past 28 years. Since 1995, I've resided in the UK.     Ebru Clegg was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She embraced different cultures by travelling through Europe and living in Geneva for several years in the 2000’s. While she was living in Istanbul, she had the pleasure of working with numerous international art galleries (Turkish, French, British and German) to exhibit her work. She moved to the UK and built her own studio and had started work.

    Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally. I then returned to mixed media work in 2021.
