    Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally. I then returned to mixed media work in 2021.

    I’m Jane and I’m a fine silver contemporary jewellery maker. I came to art as an outlet whilst being a full time carer though I’ve always loved the arts especially galleries. I’m due to commence an arts degree in June 2026 to deepen my love of drawing.

    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     Born in Nottinghamshire, Stuart Reid completed a Foundation course in Art and Design at Grimsby School of Art. He studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and Birmingham School of Art (Postgraduate Painting). He lives in East London and works in a Space Studio.     Lorraine Marie is a contemporary abstract artist whose work is defined by playfulness, experimentation, and a love of mixing things up. She creates expressive, impasto-inspired pieces using a combination of textured mediums, palette-knife techniques, layered strokes, and intuitive mark-making.     I am a Brighton based artist. A working mum who tries to find a time and space to express herself via art. This is passion that has been put aside and pushed down the long to do list. Putting myself first became very important since last year I had a mental breakdown and panick attack. Recently joined the Brighton Women Artists group whose main aim is to promote women from all background.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.
