    Lily A.H. is a visual and scenic artist who produces whimsical portraits and drawings with the use of vintage photographs as reference images. Lily utilises classical painting techniques in a colourful and illustrative application to produce anachronistic work, which draws inspiration from the 1920s art movement of Magical Realism.

    I live in Knaresborough where I have a home studio. I graduated in Fine Art Painting at Wimbledon School of Art with a postgraduate at Goldsmiths University, London. I also studied printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre receiving my diploma from Sir Stanley Jones. I have exhibited at The Royal Academy of Art, The Society of Women Artists, and The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.

    Katy works with Merino wool, using felting and embroidery to create landscape stories. Changing skies, seasons and rural scenes inspire her beautiful pictures. She is currently making wearable accessories and clothing using the same techniques. Katy has exhibited her work for some years and can be found at local artisan fairs and shops. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

I work predominantly in silver but like to combine other, found materials to my work to add colour and interest.
