    Caroline creates bold, contemporary jewellery using Surfite, a by-product of surfboard manufacturing, and recycled precious metals. The Surfite is all sourced from British board shapers and purchased as part of a circular economy. Her work is inspired by her coastal life, aiming to evoke the wearers memories of days by the sea while promoting sustainability.

    I'm a Yorkshire based, multi-disciplinary artist, with a current focus on mixed media painting. I graduated in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London, 2008.     I'm a self-taught semi-professional photographer who lives and works in London. I have been taking photographs since the age of nine when my father gave me my first camera and introduced me to the magic of developing and printing photos in the darkroom. Photography has been my lifelong passion alongside a 40 plus year career in IT and, now retired, I spend almost all of my time making pictures.

    I’m currently exploring the connection between the sun, Antarctica, and human activity over the austral summer season. I describe myself as an environmental artist. I’m interested in the interrelationships between people, places, culture and nature.     I am a multi-disciplinary artist and educator, with a passion for photography and collage. My work captures often overlooked graphic fragments of the everyday. I draw on visual associations between disparate images to create carefully arranged compositions, exploring how context influences perception and how we piece together meaning, with each ‘part’ affecting our reading of the whole.
