    I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.

    My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.

    I mostly paint, draw and print. While usually figurative my subjects are rarely quite human. I'm also interested in landscape that bears the oft-troubling traces of human presence. These are dark times. I feel perpetually shocked that we have ended up here. I try to explore this in my work. I committed to making art seriously late in life. Late enough to do it frivolously.

    Graduate of the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program, my art seeks to honour the spirit of nature and wildlife in general, capturing their essence and echoing their silent plea for preservation.     A late arrival to the world of Art Textiles. I graduated from De Montfort University in 2003 with a first-class honours degree in Textile Design & Production and spent the following 21 years working in the commercial world of textiles in various guises. My art practice is mixed media, using wool fibres, wool felt, paint, print, stitch and found objects to create one-of-a-kind works of art.

    I am a conceptual artist based in London. I moved to London from Ukraine in 2001 and have been a part of Studio Fridays until 2022. I am self taught and draw my inspiration from the connection between humans and nature, exploring transience, change, grief, loss and ageing.     I'm a self-taught semi-professional photographer who lives and works in London. I have been taking photographs since the age of nine when my father gave me my first camera and introduced me to the magic of developing and printing photos in the darkroom. Photography has been my lifelong passion alongside a 40 plus year career in IT and, now retired, I spend almost all of my time making pictures.

    I make paintings about what it is to be human and our dis-connection from the natural world. I am inspired by Adam and Eve and how paradise lives in our psyche as both a longing for home or mythical place. My work as a psychotherapist is mirrored in the psychodrama of the work, the painted surface and imagery reflecting our fractures, flaws, both psychological/physical, and our wish for love.
