    Pink and grAy (Sylvia Causer and Andrea Freeman) are a Live Art/Performance Art Duo based in the North of England. We met whilst studying for M.A. Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and discovered that we hold shared ideas and concerns. We have worked together professionally since 2014, soon producing a manifesto which informs all of our work.

    I am a New Zealand born painter and filmmaker living and working on the Isle of Man. I have a BA in Religious Studies, and an MA Fine Art from Central Saint Martins. My work has a strong relationship to place, particularly locations that are considered sacred, as well as symbolic, and often archaic representations of natural phenomena.

    Having been a painter for many years, having had many different occupations and once being a gallery owner I try to capture the uncertainty of life in my paintings. Predominantly an oil painter I always strive to find the subtle or obscure aspect of an image, searching for its individuality.

    Janey is a landscape painter, using charcoal, pastel and watercolour crayons. She is influenced by contours of the landscape, ancient monuments, historical field patterns and modern farming, old estate maps and archaeological drawings.     I’m a local artist working from my studio at Art Space Portsmouth, Hampshire in the U.K. I graduated from The University of Chichester with a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Art.     Sara-Louise Dobson is a multidisciplinary artist currently studying an MA at Central Saint Martins. Awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 2018, Sara now divides her time between private commissions and community projects. Her art practice is reflective of the current political climate, focusing on diversity whilst using experimental techniques.
