    An artist/sculptor working mainly with biological tissues such as leather and hair, recently I have been using recycled leather primarily, creating realistic copies of inorganic materials, generic consumer goods, or of peripheral environments and events taking place on the margins of culture and the edge of the urban landscape.

Works are completed without caution and in support of liberating the embodied, relocating it externally and re-energising it to life through art.     I am an artist based in Leeds making work across sculpture, moving image and animation, exploring the linkages and crossings between nature and environment; shifting between imagination and reality. I take inspiration from autobiographical objects, cycling, wildlife, traffic and nature, allowing them to perform together to tell ongoing stories with the environments I create.

    Painting, drawing, digital and print, plus engagement and outreach work. The built world, architecture and relics are at the centre of my practice. My work can be read at face value or more deeply; that is, as a reflection of the cyclical nature of human triumphs and struggles — the futile repetition of construction, dominion, decay and redundancy that is traced by the objects we leave behind.
