    I am a mainly self taught painter, working in oils, acrylic and gouache. I have worked as a doctor since 2003. I started to paint as a way to relax and escape from the stress of working in critical care during the pandemic. Now I paint for the joy of learning and creating.

    I am based in a light airy studio within Art Space Portsmouth, and have links to Manchester and Scotland. I use 'line systems' to create drawings on paper, walls sculptures and light installations. I'm interested in national and international exhibition opportunities. I sell works to private collectors and undertake commissions within the commercial sector.

    I’m an artist and socially engaged facilitator living by the coast of far west Cornwall. I have a fascination with Dirt (prefer the word dirt over earth - the connotations intrigue me).
