Report this?“My art is an exploration of life, translated through layers of paint and personal experience,” says Theriault. Her pieces, not just abstract forms, are reflections of emotion, memory, and place. Each painting is a dialogue between intention and improvisation, shifting dynamically as it develops. Theriault is deeply inspired by nature, not as a literal subject, but as a guide to creating art.

Demeter Dykes

Report this?I live and work in Dorset. My practice revolves around making with materials that are intrinsic to my everyday life. and short video works. The act of making is devotional and mostly at odds with the banality of the material which can be anything from old, shredded bills to empty tea bags. The images are absurd and playful and have a performative aspect.
