    I have been involved in producing artwork and in art education for over 35 years. I achieved my degree in ceramic sculpture in 1978 at North Staffordshire Poly, I then moved back to my home in Liverpool and began teaching Art. I moved to Lincolnshire in the 1990s.

    I’m a textile artist and award-winning poet who blends photography and collage-making into my creativity. My art draws on the daily human experiences especially the tough stuff that’s easily pushed out of sight, earshot, to the margins. First and foremost, my art is witnessing: seeing, hearing, noticing, bearing with – without having to find answers, without saving, without turning away.

    I`m a self taught artist from London, and started painting only few years ago despite always having a natural flair for drawing and creating. My pieces have a laid back simplicity with a modern touch, and are inspired by my upbringing in Lithuania. My art works are abstract realism. Painting for me is a poetic expression, a state of mind. The colours are the `language of my soul.`

    As a neurodivergent artist, Marie Magnetic uses color, form, and surreal images to make sense of humanity.     A mixed media artist; I create with acrylic paint, collage and printing techniques to produce paintings and monotypes. I play with different methods with the aim of making the accidental intentional. This constant evolution towards authenticity in process, content and scale is seeking to convey my emotional responses to the landscape and nature as a collaboration between the two.

    I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design in 2010, after previously studying fashion and textiles and fine art.
