Report this?My name is Meg Bristol. I am an acrylic painter from Cornwall. I currently studying at the University of Leeds, working in acrylic depictions of the ordinary. My work is designed to appeal to those who enjoy the beauty of a quiet moment. I use my work to slow down time, taking a closer look at the familiar buildings we pass idly on the way to work, or relaxing in the memory of a cleansing bath.

Report this?I’m a British artist working across mixed media—acrylic, ink, print, stitch, and scraps—drawn to the messy, intuitive business of making. My work lives at the intersection of wildness and control, personal story and public space, nature and notebook. It’s rooted in sketchbooks, foraging walks, and annotated thought—where ideas are allowed to spill, split, and grow teeth.

Report this?As a child I loved to draw and paint, and as an adult would loved to have had the time to follow it up. However, work and family kept me busy. When I retired I promised myself I would join an art class and take it seriously. Though I don't hold a degree, I am still being very well taught, by excellent professional teachers .,so you are never too old to learn about something you love doing.
