    I am a visual artist, primarily working with oil paints. I trained at university in Canterbury, obtaining my BA in Fine Art in 2005. I moved to Yorkshire in 2006 and later completed my Masters degree in Art Therapy in 2012. I currently live in Leeds and work from my home based art studio. I exhibit and sell her paintings online and at Art Fairs, and work on a commission basis.

    I am a socially-engaged, early career, multidisciplinary, conceptual, female visual artist based in the West Midlands, UK. I focus on mutable urban and suburban ground level ecosystems to explore intersections of culture, species and matter. My research starts with collecting found objects and waste material and continues by investigating inter-connectedness via abstract form.

I have taught drawing at the City Lit, at Camberwell College of Art and the University of Hertfordshire and have held residencies at the Drawing Centre at Wimbledon Art College, the Geography Departments of Royal Holloway, University of London, and Exeter University, amongst others.

    I've been on a creative journey for over 20 years, earning a Bachelor's and Master's in Fine Art. My work featured in exhibitions like "Come As You Art" and "Mirror Mirror on the Wall" in 2021, even amidst COVID-19 challenges.     Living in the north west of Cumbria, England, I am constantly inspired by the ever-changing landscape.     I worked for over 30 years as a qualified nurse, in many varied settings. I embarked on a Fine Arts Degree to fulfill a long held ambition. My practice revolves around experimenting with materials such as textiles, ceramic , plaster and glass. My interest is in giving expression to social history and creating installations.
