My works are spontaneous reactions to or feeling-ignited responses to life. Works are completed without caution and in support of liberating the embodied, relocating it externally and re-energising it to life through art. My approach to creativity is unashamed, forthright, and free. Working with vibrant colours, and texture brings immense pleasure.

My work explores labour separation, between class and gender. By presenting a dichotomy of public and private job materials, creating indications of construction works with materials symbolic to traditional views of women-hood. I reflect upon a dysfunctionality and insecurity of self within my future role as both an artist and a woman in construction.

My motivation often comes from the challenge of transforming and exploiting objects then trying to give them new uses. I enjoy keeping the original object recognisable so then it has a dual personality. Many of my projects and products have been interactive, in a residency last year I was able to create larger pieces using rope and objects that people could interactive and play with.
