    I am a Yorkshire lass from Barnsley. I recently graduated from Hull with a fine art degree. I have immersed myself in creativity to cope with a long term illness fibromyalgia.     Originally from North Yorkshire, I gained a degree in Fine Art Printmaking at Sheffield Hallam in 1983 and made Sheffield my home.     I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    Gaby Młynarczyk is an East London-based artist working across ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. She studied Sculpture at the School of Visual Arts, New York, and completed an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2024. Młynarczyk was Ceramic Artist in Residence at UCA Farnham (2024–25) and has exhibited internationally, including in London, New York and Los Angeles

I use traditional methods and materials in a unique way, building my work up in a layered practice that refers to both etching and primitive photography. I am based in London. I m a former recipient of the Jerwood Drawing Prize and was shortlisted for the John Moores Prize in 2014, winning the Visitors Choice.
