    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process. Each body of work I produce is varied but I'm looking at the same factors; how colour and light affects (inside/outside) materials.

    I am a printmaker and artist living in Otley, West Yorkshire. I have made art all my life, but printmaking has driven me to take art-making more seriously. I love to draw, and this has helped me lean into and enjoy the process and technique of print making. I mainly work with Japanese Vinyl, traditional Lino and Drypoint.     My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.

    Jana Bareham is a printmaker working with mokuhanga, the traditional Japanese woodblock printing method that uses hand-carved woodblocks, watercolours, washi paper, and a bamboo baren. Rooted in natural materials and slow, tactile processes, her work reflects a deep respect for ecology and craftsmanship.
