    My work touches on themes of belonging, mythology, memory, identity and the female gaze. In my creative practice, I enjoy exploring the symbolism behind water, waterlilies, lotus flowers, landscapes and the female body. I believe that my mixed heritage has been a rich source of material to work with, as I experiment with oil paint and mixed media on canvas.

    I have lived and walked in both urban & natural environments from London to Staffordshire and currently near Nottingham. In 2015 I completed an MA in Fine Art, through using my culture of walking, and I’m inspired by ‘edgeland’ landscapes.     I am in my early seventies having studied art in the last twenty years. My interest in the natural world, the climate crisis and threats to biodiversity are reflected in the work that I make in a variety of materials.     My educational background is in Fine Art and I have a Masters degree in Curatorial Practice from Falmouth University. My Pagan faith influences my arts practice, to create connections between the divine feminine, humanity and nature within my work. I draw visual inspiration from the Wheel of the Year and use a palette associated with a particular season or Sabbat.
