    Rachel Anderson is a textile artist and designer working from East Yorkshire. Primarily specialising in freemotion machine embroidery, Rachel also works with fabric design, mark making and other textile techniques. Her textile works often combine structure and fluidity, designing fabrics based on hand marbled prints which juxtapose the rigidity of the drawn elements that sit on the surface.

    Christine Thomas is a fine artist with a multi-disciplinary practice and often works with textiles. Her areas of interest include locational identity and the domestic, often from a feminist perspective and explore the use of nature and the domestic.     Emily Joy (UK, 1982) is a socially and environmentally engaged artist making sculpture, installation, and performative work. Emily is also a ceramic sculpture tutor and facilitates public creative projects as half of creative partnership ‘Periscope’. Currently exploring Swiss glacial melt and associated ecological and social impacts, her practice centres around communication, empathy and ecology.

    I’m a wood sculptor based in North Wales, working internationally, and I’ve been making a living as an artist for 20 years. I adore sculpting the human form, and I have a particular love for folk tales and historical subjects. My intention is to make the viewer feel like they’ve experienced part of a story through the movement and pose of my work.

    I returned to college age 24 & completed a Degree in 'Combined Studies in Crafts' at Crewe and Alsager college. After graduating I started making wooden boxes, cabinets clocks etc. Then I designed large scale public art projects, taught workshops & residencies. I now concentrate on botanical & tree prints created with multiple layers. I also have a range of plaster cast flower plaques.

    I have been painting for 20 years now and love every minute. I work from home in my studio. I exhibit in the south east art fairs and London. I paint mainly large figurative pieces based on travels and city visits, I love to incorporate story and a sense of peace within each painting.

    Catherine has a first class degree in Photography from the University of Westminster. Disillusioned with Photoshop and filters, she began to work with the cyanotype photogram. An historic process, using iron salts, light and water, the cyanotype is an environmentally friendly printing method. Botanical specimens are collected from local spaces, seeds are returned: each print treads lightly.

    As a neurodivergent artist, Marie Magnetic uses color, form, and surreal images to make sense of humanity. Pulling from her experiences as a queer, Jewish, and Indigenous woman, she uses social issues and events from the everyday to explore society and share her experiences and inner world with her audience.
