Bill Redshaw was born and grew up in the North London Borough of Barnet. He started to make work as a child; ‘painting’ the garden fence with water, and drawing monsters. Much later, he studied an Art Foundation at Camberwell at 18, and moving to Brighton where he completed a BA in Painting. He now lives and works in Brighton, from his studio in Hove, and anywhere he takes himself.

I'm a new graduate of Fine Art working in pen and ink and I love to capture the little details of the world around me in Yorkshire. I've come to art after a career in archaeology, where observing and drawing the small details was an essential part of my role. These technical archaeological drawings form the foundation of my practice, inspiring me to look at the fine details around me.

Trans*-disciplinary artist, working across scenography, performance, drag and visual art, my work has been staged in the West End, international opera houses, pubs, clubs, ships, cabarets, museums and leaky basements. I work with, through and for queer bodies, squinting at history, flirting with ghosts and the things that go bump in the margins.

    N. Irish artist living and working on the Ards peninsula in Co. Down. I lived a large part of my life in California working in Economics but I have always maintained my love of art and creating art. My journey now is mostly about making art. I trained and worked as a primary teacher early on in my career, before motherhood took over and I took time to raise my family. I returned to work as a teaching assistant and supply teacher part time, before I took the plunge and embarked on an access course in art and design. I haven't looked back since, gaining a BA, followed by an MA in Fine Art, and I am at present continuing my research.
