    Kate Bentley began her artistic journey as a sculptor and theatre designer but transitioned to a full-time professional painter by 1999. Her work is deeply influenced by her surroundings and the landscape, reflecting her identity as a "painter of life." Bentley's art is heavily informed by en plein air sessions and life drawing, which serve as the foundation for her narrative paintings.

    Didi Baldwin is a printmaker, photographer and painter, working with broad themes of landscape, time and the sublime. She completed an MA in Printmaking from the RCA in 2002, for which she received a thesis distinction. She won an Erasmus Award to Berlin, and has had several residences in Iceland. She has exhibited in London, Japan and Portugal.

    I'm an artist and writer who specialises in photographic engagement with the natural world, particularly the cultural history of plants. My practice-based PhD from the University of Brighton, conducted research on how creative encounters with the concept of plant intelligence can help narrow the nature-culture divide by making-with the plant not just as subject, but also as object.

    Winner of art battle Manchester Dec 2018 and a long standing student of Artworks art school on Halifax. I have my own studio at home where I work. I have had an exhibition Hebden Bridge which launched my art business. I show work locally in Halifax and have commissions on the go most of the time. My career background is in interior design and I still work in this business.
