    The first time I touched clay, it was a peaceful and comforting experience. There is nothing more grounding than working by hand with raw materials and watching as it slowly transforms into a piece of work. This started by accident. As someone who has ADHD, it’s incredibly difficult to be still, and I feel the need to constantly be doing something with my hands.

    I am a visual artist, primarily working with oil paints. I trained at university in Canterbury, obtaining my BA in Fine Art in 2005. I moved to Yorkshire in 2006 and later completed my Masters degree in Art Therapy in 2012. I currently live in Leeds and work from my home based art studio. I exhibit and sell her paintings online and at Art Fairs, and work on a commission basis.

My practice blends mixed media, laser-cut acrylic, and storytelling to create bold, abstract works inspired by popular culture, place, and memory.     As a chemical free seasonal flower grower and lover of nature I use my garden as inspiration for my art, using a variety of mediums from watercolour through to acrylic and digital. I practice continually with different styles and have created large acrylic flow paintings through to small textile pieces. Flowers are my passion but I am open to depicting any form.

    I'm a painter, drawing from nature, and seeking the symbiotic relationships and wellbeing that the natural world can bring. My paintings varying in scale, with smaller, more intimate surreal-like painted works forming installations. A process- based and curiosity driven practice, painting with immediacy, and intuition, which is later refined with a more considered aesthetic.

    Artist working in ceramics and on canvas using oils and watercolour. I am represented by four galleries in the UK most recently I had an exhibition in London which celebrated the life and work of Derek Jarman. My ceramic work was part of a larger collection shown at Collect 2024 where the Ulster Museum acquired three of my pieces for their permanent collection.
