    I am a UK-based artist working in the South West. I make both large and small works, predominantly oil paintings on linen, but I also create small three dimensional pieces that consider the impact of scale and perception. Some of these become part of older objects, others are created new.

    I only returned to using clay several years ago after a break of over 35 years and following work-related mental health issues. The charity Create Bolton supported me in rediscovering my love of ceramics and encouraging me to develop my own style of making. My work is inspired by my love of nature and my style is still evolving.

    Jun Rui Lo (b. Hong Kong) is a Leeds-based artist whose practice revolves around the entangled emotions that emerge from drifting between gender and cultural identities. Working primarily with drawing and sculptural juxtaposition, Lo constructs fragmented allegorical narratives and out-of-place scenes that oscillate between fiction and reality, embodying the aesthetics of ambiguity and melancholy.

    Though rooted in printmaking, my MA in Fine Art (UAL) encouraged me to expand my practice to include installation and assemblage. I use a range of media including traditional (e.g. print, ceramics) and newer technologies (e.g. laser cut) which I combine to stretch possibilities. My work reflects the range of human experience, with dementia and the working poor among my subjects.

    Julie Dawson/Gledhill is a retired teacher of Art and Design Technology. She was born and still resides in Wakefield West Yorkshire. Julie is a keen photographer and uses her camera to inspire her art. One of Julie’s favourite places to visit is the Yorkshire coast and this is reflected in her work.     Emma is an embroidery artist who works with recycled ,aluminium, drinks cans. Using ancient design techniques such as engraving and goldwork embroidery. After burnishing the inside of the can turns a golden colour which she sews onto. The contrast in materials is a focal point of her practice. She also woks on site specific settings and immersive projects.
