    I am a visual artist, illustrator and urban sketcher living and working in Yorkshire, UK. My work deals primarily with the landscapes and built environments in the North of England: I seek to capture the atmosphere and 'feel' of these places in a way that goes beyond description, capturing their essence and creating emotional resonance with the viewer. My preferred medium is watercolour and ink.

    Kate Bajic has been creating jewellery for over 22 years’. She has experience exhibiting in the UK, Europe and the USA and has shown her work several times at prestigious events including Goldsmiths Fair and Collect Art Fair. Internationally she has exhibited twice at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and also twice at Sierrad Art Fair in Amsterdam.

    Rachel Anderson is a textile artist and designer working from East Yorkshire. Primarily specialising in freemotion machine embroidery, Rachel also works with fabric design, mark making and other textile techniques. Her textile works often combine structure and fluidity, designing fabrics based on hand marbled prints which juxtapose the rigidity of the drawn elements that sit on the surface.

    In the last year I have returned to full time education following a decade of being a stay at home parent. Juggling artistic practices with the mundane and often seeing the world through the eyes of young children curious about the little things.     A mixed media artist; I create with acrylic paint, collage and printing techniques to produce paintings and monotypes. I play with different methods with the aim of making the accidental intentional. This constant evolution towards authenticity in process, content and scale is seeking to convey my emotional responses to the landscape and nature as a collaboration between the two.

    I make predominantly papier-mâché sculptures. I love its immediacy, expressiveness and physicality. My work often has a performative quality. They are not just sculptures — they’re personalities, each holding part of my own identity, emotions, and fears, reflecting some of my own mental health challenges but also inviting a shared recognition.

    I am a Northern Irish artist currently based in Kent Using found objects and recycled materials, I tend to work in response to specific sites, indoors and out. Reclaimed materials often retain the traces or scars of their former use but can be given a new energy charge when redeemed. I sometimes combine these with materials held to have more value or impact, such as stained glass, itself recycled

    My practice crosses performance, sculpture and moving image, inhabiting a flickering state between rational and non-rational realities, to create powerful mash-ups, hybrid half-truths, not-quite-lies. My work is in the Saatchi Collection and was exhibited in ‘Known Unknowns’ at Saatchi Gallery throughout 2018. I have performed at the Tate Modern and at performance festivals in UK and abroad.

    Joanna Jowett is a Leeds-based artist working across photography, printmaking, artist publishing and text. Her work explores memory, matrescence, grief and our relationship with the natural world, with a focus on the quiet, tender and vulnerable parts of being human.     My passion is for fabric and stitch, my background in illustration, fashion and hand-embroidery. Recently my practice has grown using new methodologies to create large-scale installations and interactions. My work is generous and inclusive, acting like a type of therapy, offered to the viewer with gentle humour. Methods I use are traditionally craft related, all familiar childhood activities.
