    I am a ceramist who uses unorthodox methods in my work, also I use mixed mediums in the ceramics They are all hand made and glazed. My work is unique as every piece is different and I only make one. My heads have lots of features and need to be seen by the eye to appreciate the details.     Jens Tojen is a multidisciplinary artist working with; fashion costume and clothing, textiles, oil painting, and collage.     I have been involved in producing artwork and in art education for over 35 years. I achieved my degree in ceramic sculpture in 1978 at North Staffordshire Poly, I then moved back to my home in Liverpool and began teaching Art. I moved to Lincolnshire in the 1990s.

I have an MA in ceramics, and exhibit my work in the UK and abroad. My work has been shortlisted for a number of national and international prizes, and is held in public and private collections in the UK, USA and Italy .
