    I am a mosaic artist living in Cumbria. I have being making mosaics for a few years and am a former illustrator and mural painter. I make wildlife portraits out of rocks and found materials. I forage slate, quartz, found ceramics, fossils from places I visit and choose subjects that interest or inspire me. My style is representational and I choose materials to give my mosaics texture and movement

    East Yorkshire based visual communicator, and sculptor. My work focuses on colour, the natural world, and how plants connect with us. I work in whatever materials I can afford/acquire including digital drawing often incorporating handwritten lettering.     I have been doing abstract art since the beginning of 2023, as a recovering alcoholic (sober for over 10 years now) I use my art as a way of expressing my innermost feelings without having to speak a single word about them. I see my paintings as a screenshot of my soul at that particular moment in time.

    I am a charcoal pencil artist specialising in landscapes, wildlife and gothic illustration. Much of my work is commission based and has included book covers, album art and tattoos.     Following my graduation from a Fine Art Degree in 1993, I qualified as an art teacher, teaching art for over twenty-five years in various settings, including mainstream schools and referral units for children excluded from school. My understanding of art and how students can be encouraged to create has enlightened, inspired and enriched my understanding of the practice and process of making art.
