    I have been painting for 20 years now and love every minute. I work from home in my studio. I exhibit in the south east art fairs and London. I paint mainly large figurative pieces based on travels and city visits, I love to incorporate story and a sense of peace within each painting.

    I am a mixed media artist with a background in textiles, creating decorative gallery pieces that combine stitch, print, and paint.     I am an artist with northern roots but based in Hackney. I completed a BTEC Foundation in Art & Design at Kendal College (2002), a Fine Art Certificate at Leeds University School of Fine Art and Cultural Studies (2004) and a BA in Interdisciplinary Art & Design at Leeds College of Art & Design.     Dan Harland is a painter based in Leeds, U.K. He translates the collage of memory and imagination that occupies the mind's eye, in Oil and Acrylic.     As a chemical free seasonal flower grower and lover of nature I use my garden as inspiration for my art, using a variety of mediums from watercolour through to acrylic and digital. I practice continually with different styles and have created large acrylic flow paintings through to small textile pieces. Flowers are my passion but I am open to depicting any form.
