    I am an practising public artist working with galleries, schools and community groups. I am highly experienced in Art workshops for Young Children, Primary, Secondary, Post 16, SEN, including Adults of all ages and capabilities.     I originally trained as a ceramic designer with a BA (hons) from Loughborough. I had my range of tableware in a number of specialist interior shops but more recently I have been working in mixed media and mosaic. I live in Nottinghamshire at the edge of Sherwood Forest. The main theme of my work has always been to question our concept of ‘taste’ - what we find esthetic and valuable and why.

    My work investigates both the uses of fabrics and the processes of making clothes. Sofia's work always revolved around the concepts of cultural exchanges and trade. Her work always looked at past events and their present consequences. Her research often draws from anthropology and sociology.

I have enjoyed several careers from being a Graphic Artist, to serving 10 years in the RAF as an Intelligence Analyst and most recently being a Registered Mental Health nurse. My mental health involvement has inspired me to creative vibrant and positive images that aim to inspire hope.

    I am an artist based in Leeds, UK, interested in the spatial qualities of textiles, how their ubiquity make them a potent marker of time, change and human life.     I am an artist and musician based in Birmingham with interests in pattern, organisation, liminality and varying modes of perception and control. My practice was almost exclusively focused on abstract drawing until 2017, when I began seeking new ways to engage with and develop these concepts.
