The art I create is a personal journey, capturing the essence of my emotions and inviting the audience to experience the raw feelings I wish to convey. While I enjoy experimenting with mixed media, my primary focus is on painting, where vibrant colours and dynamic brushstrokes bring my vision to life. Each piece reflects my experiences, drawing on the moments that shape my identity and evoke a sen

A disabled artist having to experiment using my non dominant hand, I love to capture a feeling or beauty within my art. Charcoal was the very first thing I picked up and I'm venturing from this trying to recycle my "canvas'" and drawing on anything I can find and reuse. I believe my art maintains a stylised appearance on account of the deliberation and consideration having to be factored in.

I am an artist whose work always starts with a piece of cloth. I make art textiles that are reductive, quiet, simple and contemplative. This has meant restricting my tools, my media, my palette and my process – simplify, simplify, simplify. I use raw earth pigments for my landscape-inspired work and antique linen or hemp for my intensively hand stitched work.

Award-winning contemporary artist Iva Troj PhD creates fine art pieces which seamlessly merge Renaissance aesthetics and techniques with postmodern praxis. Her intensely detailed images achieve astonishing tricks of light and shade, as practiced by the great masters while incorporating dreamlike scenes which challenge cultural norms.
