    Yuliya Surnina, is a Designer/Maker born in Kazakhstan during the zenith of Soviet Union. She primarily explores three main themes in her work: object transformation, perceptions of and expectations from female bodies, and the experience of straddling two cultures. Trained as a City and Guilds Traditional Upholsterer with a MSc in Social Psychology, Julia lives in wild Dorset.

    My work is based on what I notice in the natural environment from day to day, it might be a tree, plant, overgrown border, the sky through leaves or sun on a pond. I am a self-taught artist and have exhibited in Leeds and surrounding areas.

    I have painted since I was ten years old, throughout my career in fashion design and later interior design. I use everyday scenes as well as those from travelling, and am inspired by nature and the seasons, with the variation in moods and colours they bring. I started painting in oils and in the last few years have developed a passion for soft pastels.

    I’m a performance artist and researcher. My main research topics are everyday technology (handheld devices) for performance practice, low-tech images and the emotional reception in neuroaesthetics. I work with autobiography material (snapshots and home movies) and historical archives. I graduated in Drama Studies (U.C.Dublin) and am a PhD student in art studies at the University of Coimbra.

    I am a Yorkshire based artist specialising in palette knife painting. I produce landscape, figurative and still life paintings using acrylics, often on large scale canvases. My work is represented by several northern galleries in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Lake District, and via solo and mixed exhibitions across the north.     I am a British artist working out of a studio in Hertfordshire, near to London. I have been practising as an artist for 20 years. I incorporate traditional and contemporary artistic techniques to create an altered sense of reality. I explore the complex relationship between human life and the natural environment, portraying a world that is dramatic and beautiful, as well as constantly changing.

    I am Natalie Breeze Creative. I love things that are colourful, warm, uplifting and playful. I create mixed media / textile art in the form of canvases, panels, framed works, embroidery hoops and wall hangings. I paint.
