Her work has drawn her back time and time again to her love of surfing and exploring the British coastline. Her current focus is a collection of collaborative work with Jay Burnett a Scottish Surfboard shaper. Caroline is using the waste resin ‘Surfite’ produced during the manufacture of the surfboards.

My surroundings are a constant source of inspiration to me; the colours of the expansive skies, the flocks of corvidae wheeling around and the flowers in the hedgerows. I work mostly with textiles.

It aims to encourage the viewer to question knowledge and value systems by teasing their cognitive senses.
