Report this?I’m a textile artist using the ancient craft of feltmaking and other fabrics to create unique, organic designs. I’m inspired by the natural world, by subverting traditional forms and putting my own ideas into practice. I think my insight into the human psyche through my experience as a psychotherapist is also something that I bring into my work.

Report this?Working across oils, water-based and mixed-media my work fluctuates between pure abstraction and a subtle refence to place or object. Paintings begin with intuitive marks and colour, and are developed over several months, if not years, with several paintings being worked on at a time. The final composition only comes to realisation in the later stages of the process.
