    I am a visual artist based in York, UK. Formerly a teacher of literature & drama in the UK and Spain, I was awarded an MA in Fine Art in 2020 and went on to co-manage a community gallery and studio at 23 Piccadilly. I'm a co-founder of NAVIGATORS ART, a York-based collective of artists, writers, musicians and performers. I'm also a freelance editor & proofreader. Enquiries & commissions welcome.

    My name is Vic Wright and l'm a sculptor based in the North West of England. My pieces are often the result of experimenting and manipulating core materials. Typically my work takes the form of unique casts. Using a base of fine casting cement different materials such as metal powders and pigments are added. When drying this results in different textures, colours and surfaces.

    I'm Lucy, an artist based in Derby. I love to paint realistically in oils and acrylic, and dabble in mixed media. Nature is a huge source of inspiration and I also find challenging but rewarding to paint portraits and attempt to capture someone's personality in the painting.

    Exploring the lost and found, the past and how it has shaped us, connection and heritage are the themes central to my work. I seek to create a certain atmosphere and emotion. All at once imagined and familiar, a connection with the viewer and a continued exploration to find my own place in the world. Inspired by my home in beautiful, rugged Northumberland.
